WHAT IS SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT GROUP?

Bakersfield ARC’s Supported Employment (SE) Group program partners with businesses to provide work opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group setting.

These partnerships provide businesses with dedicated work crews, while giving individuals the opportunity to develop work skills that will one day allow them to transition into Competitive Integrated Employment.

    Job Coaches are provided and paid for through Bakersfield ARC. Job coaches ensure the efficiency and quality of work done by our crews and are there to support the success of each client.

    Workers Comp and liability insurances are covered by Bakersfield ARC.
